Shape the Future of Sport and Community in Yarrawonga

A new era is coming with the Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium an inclusive, modern facility designed for all ages, abilities, and ambitions. Now is your chance to help shape how it’s used.

Built for Everyone. Designed by You.

The Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium will be a vibrant hub for sport, health, and community connection. More than just courts, it will feature multipurpose spaces, a café, meeting rooms, and accessible facilities, creating opportunities for training, competitions, fitness classes, youth programs, and community events all year round.

Moira Shire Council wants to hear from local clubs, schools, businesses, and residents. Your input will help us understand the community’s needs and aspirations for how this facility can best serve Yarrawonga and the wider region.

Together, we can build something exceptional that brings people together and puts Yarrawonga on the map as a destination for sport and community life.

Complete the survey by Monday 18 August and help bring this state-of-the-art stadium to life.

How You Can Engage:

A survey was open from Monday 28 July to Monday 18 August, allowing community members to share their thoughts and priorities for the stadium.

During the engagement period, we asked the community to contribute ideas about the types of programs and activities they'd like to see offered at the stadium.

Council provided the opportunity for community to speak with Council staff in person with three available pop-up sessions.
  • Friday 1 August
  • Friday 8 August
  • Wednesday 13 August

We also enocurage community to visit Council’s Customer Service Centres if they had further questions or needed assistance with the online platform or receive a printed copy of the consultation survey.

If you need assistance or further information regarding the Multisport Stadium please contact the Community Development Team.

Your feedback will help Council understand the community’s needs, interests, and aspirations for how the Yarrawonga Multisport Stadium can be programmed and activated once built.

While Stage 1 will not change the overall design or layout of the stadium, it will:

  • Inform future programs, schedules, and partnerships.
  • Help identify opportunities for community events, social activities, and sports competitions.
  • Support planning for how the stadium can best serve all ages and abilities.

Some ideas may not be immediately achievable due to budget, space, or operational requirements, but all feedback will be considered as we plan for the stadium’s future.
