We want to understand how students travel to and from school,
what safety concerns exist, and what improvements could encourage more walking, riding and other active travel options.
Your feedback will help develop School Travel Plans to deliver road safety improvements for local school communities.
Together we can create safer and more accessible journeys to and from school.
Share your experience and shape the journey by completing the survey and engagement activities below from Monday 20 July to Wednesday 12 August.
A School Travel Plan is a community-based plan that helps make travel to and from school safer, healthier and more accessible.
It identifies how students currently travel, any road safety issues or barriers they face, and opportunities to improve walking, cycling, scooting, public transport and vehicle access.
School Travel Plans guide future infrastructure improvements, education initiatives and road safety programs that support safer school journeys for students, families, staff and the wider community.
School Travel Plans will be developed in stages, with all school communities across Moira Shire having the opportunity to participate. This round focuses on schools within Katunga, Nathalia, Tungamah and Yarrawonga.
If you live, work, travel or have children attending school in these communities, we encourage you to have your say.
Other school communities will be invited to participate in future consultation rounds.
