Moira Shire Council has developed a draft Lease and Licence Policy to help guide the fair and equitable management of all land and property across Council’s portfolio through leases and licenses.

Council is committed to making property not required for council use available for the community, to help support local community organisations - including volunteer organisations, sports clubs and local businesses.

The draft Policy proposes clear guidelines and criteria around User Groups, responsibilities for maintenance and management, and a transparent rent and outgoings structure.

Consultation is open from Tuesday 30 September and will close on Tuesday 21 October.
