Moira Shire Council manages more than $1 billion in infrastructure assets that support our daily lives—roads, footpaths, bridges, buildings, drainage, and open spaces.

The Asset Plan 2025–2035 outlines how Council will maintain, renew, and invest in community assets over the next decade to ensure they remain safe, fit-for-purpose, and provide long-term value. It also considers future challenges such as population growth, ageing infrastructure, and the impacts of climate change.

Over the next 10 years, Council plans to invest around $228 million in capital works and maintenance, with a strong focus on renewing existing assets rather than building new ones. Your feedback is important to help us make sure we’re investing in the right areas, in ways that meet our community’s needs now and into the future.
